FDH Hardware an FDH Aero Company is a full line distributor that specializes in delivering quality aerospace and aircraft hardware to OEMs and major subcontractors around the world. Our customer list includes manufacturers of commercial and business aircraft military aircraft military products and space applications
FDH Hardware is looking for a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for all aspects of order packaging including but not limited to specific customer requirements product preservation schedules and facilities. Also responsible for all aspects of prereceipt included but not limited to specific purchase order requirements and part preservation. This includes coordination between other departments in meeting the companys goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify aircraft parts and receive them into computer software applications
- Load/unload inventory onto shipping containers and flatbed trucks
- Read customer orders work orders shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be pulled from inventory
- Package parts to ship to customers using specific packaging methods to ensure that the parts are fully protected and compliant to customer specifications
- Maintain inventory controls by documenting part traceability and storing pictures using the companys network drive and applications
- Pull parts from specific locations within the warehouse and stage them in areas for preparation of shipments
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
- Validate and record amounts of materials or items received distributed or cycle counted via appropriate computer program
- Weigh count and inspect items to ensure conformance to established standards
- Assist in counting tarping and movement of physical inventory
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- 12 years experience of warehouse associate or warehouse roles
- US Person status as defined by ITAR Regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Basic Computer
- Data Entry
- Effective communication teamwork coordination planning prioritizing time management inventory control record keeping equipment maintenance and reliability
- Keen attention to detail
