Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
Assists with daily department operations prepares dialysis treatment setup performs safety checks and assists with machine cleaning and turnover between patients.
Collaborates with coworkers manages resources efficiently maintains supplies and communicates effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
Performs quality control monitoring of the hemodialysis water system and equipment including documenting results reporting deviations and implementing appropriate strategies.
Precepts new Dialysis Technicians assists with orientation and evaluates competencybased training.
Provides preventative maintenance and minor equipment repair reports unsafe conditions and assists with machine repairs.
Responds to emergencies adheres to patient safety goals uses appropriate safety devices protects confidential information and follows organizational policies and procedures.
Performs clerical activities assists with scheduling appointments enters charges maintains paperwork and ensures inventory levels are adequate.
Performs other duties as assigned.
