Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES
- Processes physician orders accurately
- Performs accurate initial and ongoing nursing assessments
- Communicates with the medical team on patient status and follows up as ordered
- Completes documentation as required accurately and in a timely manner
- Educates patient on medical tests procedures medication and other items as appropriate.
- Accurately administersmedications in all forms
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Licensed to practice as a LPN in the state of North Carolina
- Ability to work with male and female adult 18 patients with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders
- Ability to work well with male and female adult 18 patients withChemical dependencyandMental Health disorders
- CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
- Teamwork and excellent customer service
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience caring for patients with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Knowledge of 12 step recovery programs
