How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
- General cleaning including mopping and vacuuming floor surfaces as well as wiping the surfaces of sinks basins toilets urinals and mirrors.
- Waste removal: involving emptying waste bins and replacing bins with new liners making sure all bins placed at work site are emptied.
- Make sure all consumables (hand soaps toilet rolls and hand towels) are replenished as required
- Toilet cleaning Clean all sinks floors taps and mirrors to the best possible standard. Mop/sweep the floors where appropriate.
- Be a happy face to building occupants.
- Be an advocate in reporting required maintenance issues.
- Maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Assist Facilities team with duties outside of cleaning as needed.
- Comply with company procedures.
- Any other duties as required.
- Eye for detail
- Excellent cleaning standard
- Ability to work reliably with minimal supervision
- Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods.
- Be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English.
Desired Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1year commercial cleaning experience (preferred)
- Works well within a team
- Understanding of work health and safety practises
- Good communication skills
