PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY RN - Per diem - McLean Southeast

The Advanced Practice Nurse/Case AdministratorII is a professional nurse who has acquired specialized knowledge and skillsthrough completion of a graduate program of study. The APRN has the credentials to function inan expanded nursing role and is responsible for the daily management ofselected patients. The APRN has the responsibilityfor assessment and management of patients including diagnostic and therapeuticinterventions implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care. The APRN works with her/his collaboratingphysician in accordance with mutually developed practice guidelines.

Conducts comprehensive evaluation ofpatients current health status utilizing the current DSM ICD frameworks. Initiates pharmacological and therapeutic interventions.

Graduate degree from an accreditedschool of nursing.

Current licensure in the Commonwealthof Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Practice role inPsychiatric Nursing. DEA and DPH licensure for prescriptive practice.
