Job Description
- Develop and implement preclinical studies in the field of T cell engineering and cellular immunotherapy including viral vector design and production engineering of human T cells and cell lines and development of mouse models to test the efficacy and safety of engineered T cells.
- Design execute and interpret research experiments.
- Performs and trains other investigators in techniques relating to small animal surgery molecular biology and vector construction.
- Investigates creates and develops new methods and technologies for research advancements
- Assist in laboratory management and supervises ordering and inventory.
- Maintain laboratory safety binders and regulatory documents such as minimalrisk human research protocols and animal protocols.
- Contribute to scientific literature and present research at scientific forums.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively.
- Strong research design and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Strong teaching skills and ability to supervise trainees and students.
- In depth knowledge of field of research; immunology experimental therapeutics and tumor models.
- Extensive postgraduate experience with small animal surgery and tumor models molecular biology and immunotherapy.
