Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a leading Financial Services firm near Jessup MD that is searching for a SeniorPayroll Associate!
The candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for an organization of approximately 1000 employees.
Title: SeniorPayroll Associate
Location: $75000/year
The candidate will be responsible for:

The candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for an organization of approximately 1000 employees.
Title: SeniorPayroll Associate
Location: $75000/year
The candidate will be responsible for:
- The collection of hours via timesheets in the clients T&E system
- Doing data entry and confirming hours in the system through other computer systems
- Ensure that the hours are accurate before submitting it for final processing.
- General maintenance in HRIS system as needed
- Changes to candidate information (address marital status withholding etc.
- Process commissions for sales associates
- Complete specialized ad hoc reporting
- Keep track of benefit deductions and adjusting for next payroll.
- Update changes in employee information such as tax and banking information as needed.
Candidates should have the following experience:
- 2 years of experience with processing payroll using a 3rd party payroll platform (ADP Paycor Paycom etc.
- Strong HR / legal experience in payroll
- Focus in attention to detail
- Ability to work through several systems that are not integrated
- Experience working in payroll processing environment
- Experience with payroll tax preferred but not required
