Job Description

Site Services Engineer Stublach Gas Storage Facility Cheshire UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Health & Environment:

    • Perform tasks safely adhering to safety rules procedures and regulations.
    • Manage civils and grounds maintenance activities ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
    • Report all incidents and participate in safety forums and compliance meetings.
    • Lead investigations into estates/land management/civils maintenance incidents.
  • Operations:

    • Maintain and manage buried services drawings and interfaces for civilsbased work activities.
    • Oversee the maintenance of buildings roads fencing drainage and landscaping.
    • Act as the key contact for landowner and tenant farmer interactions.
    • Support engineering and maintenance teams with civilsbased issues.
    • Manage site contracts including landscaping civils/buildings maintenance and more.
    • Handle local authority planning interactions and compliance requirements.
    • Manage CAPEX projects from scope definition to completion.
    • Ensure contractor welfare facilities are wellmaintained.
    • Oversee Legionella Control across buildings ensuring compliance and conducting regular checks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Civils Construction or Land Management.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (desirable).
  • Experience using CAT & Genny to locate existing services (EUSR Category 1 desirable).
