Job Description
Virginia Western Community College is a twoyear public institution of higher education operating under the Virginia Community College System a statewide system of community colleges. The College operates under the policies established by the State Board for Community Colleges and the Virginia Western Community College Local Advisory Board. Virginia Western is located on a 70acre campus in southwest Roanoke VA. The service region of the College includes Roanoke Salem Roanoke County Craig County Franklin County and southern Botetourt County. The College was established in 1966 and has grown from an initial enrollment of 1352 to its current annual enrollment of over 9000 students in credit courses and more than 1400 enrollments in fasttrack workforce and continuing education courses Virginia Western Community College located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Roanoke Valley is accepting applications for daytime Clinical Instructors for our Registered Nursing Program in the School of Health Professions. We have an immediate need for Long Term Care Pediatric Motherbaby and Medical/Surgical Clinical Instructors who would work 912 hours either Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday or Sunday. Parttime Clinical Instructors are assigned on a coursebycourse semester basis as needed. Instructors are expected to maintain currency in their nursing practice teaching disciplines and in trends in nursing education. Applications will be received and considered on a continuous basis as openings occur. Work Schedule
912 hours either Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday or Sunday.
