We are hiring exceptional Veterinary Assistants to join our overnight team on Wednesday Thursday Friday and every other Saturday from 9:30pm 7:30am. This is a fulltime position in our ER/ICU that requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Our team is focused on changing what it means to work in Emergency/Specialty Medicine.

Join our team of compassionate and client driven professionals! We are seeking skilled assistants to share their skills and compassion in a new stateoftheart facility located in the Hollywood neighborhood in NE Portland.
As a Veterinary Assistant you will:
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Obtain and monitor vital signs on incoming and hospitalized patients
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Communicate with clients to provide inpatient updates
- Provide phone triage to assess potential ER cases
- Place peripheral IVCs and learn to place advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for both mentoring other coworkers as well as learning from them
- Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
