Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architect to join our team at Town And City Developers. This is a seniorlevel fulltime position based in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing architectural design projects understanding building codes and overseeing construction processes. The role demands a strong blend of technical proficiency and creative problemsolving skills.
Qualifications and Skills
B.Arch
- Architectural Design (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing design concepts for residential and commercial buildings.
- Building Codes Knowledge (Mandatory skill): Thorough understanding of local state and national building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Project Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in managing architectural projects from conception to completion including budgeting and scheduling.
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software for drafting and designing architectural plans.
- Construction Materials Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of various construction materials and their application in building projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients team members and contractors.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to creatively address and resolve design and construction challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively in a team environment and coordinating efforts with various stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for residential and commercial projects ensuring innovative and functional outcomes.
- Develop detailed architectural plans and specifications in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources to ensure timely and costeffective completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with construction managers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project .
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction aligns with design plans.
- Review and approve design modifications and suggest improvements as necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends advancements in technology and best practices in architectural design and construction.
