What youll do

Position Title:SAP iXp Intern Software Developer

Location:Vancouver BC

Expected Start Date: 3 Sep 2024

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

• After ramping up with the team youll directly step into our daily tasks
• You will be responsible for building new features and supporting existing ones; and involved in the complete lifecycle of our products: development phase testing and analysis and troubleshooting
• As one of your main tasks you will be involved in integrating a RAG based solution into our existing content delivery services this will involve using certain ML and AI related techniques
• You will also be involved in resolving and troubleshooting customer tickets

What you bring

• Currently taking a computer science engineering natural science or related subject
• Analytical thinking and tackling complex issues
• Methodical and independent working mode
• Service and customer orientation
• Experience using tools like Git / Github / Jenkins / Maven / Apache
• Programming experience in Java and Object Oriented Design
• Development Experience with Hyperscalars would be beneficial
• Interest and experience with AI related areas such as prompt engineering finetuning and LLM training

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 2440 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process.
