What does a successful Lead DevOps Platform Engineer do at Fiserv

You will be part of our Merchant Solutions Risk & Fraud mainframe application development engineering group. You will join an organization responsible for mission critical platforms that support Fiserv reduce financial risk. We build and support highly scalable available and best performing tools for risk management process providing opportunity to evaluate monitor and manage merchant risk portfolio. This demanding environment will require you to be an enthusiastic critical analytical person who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with best engineering practices and solutions.

What you will do:

• Manage operations of largescale highfrequency lowlatency applications on AWS
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines automating the build and deployment processes
• Oversee design development and operation of all automation requirements and workflows to support development testing and deployment
• Monitor infrastructure resources and processes during the entire lifecycle
• Collaborate with software development teams and continue to iterate CI/CD improvements and ensure efficiency quality and resiliency
• Integrate with security measures code quality and coverages unit tests and other guidelines with CI/CD process
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as code (IAC) standards and templates. Develop and maintain technical documentation including knowledge base articles and best practices
• Identify manual processes and procedures and design and implement automation solutions using cloud native services and processes

What you will need to have:

• 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in Cloudbased technologies such as AWS Azure GCP or equivalent
• 6 years of experience with Repository Management Tools like Git or equivalent and CI/CD Pipelines
• 6 years of solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• 5 years of handson experience building and maintaining container platforms (e.g. PAS/TAS PKS/TKGI GKE IBM Redhat OpenShift ARO ROSA)
• 5 years of handson experience using scripting languages such as Python BASH and PowerShell
• 3 years of experience utilizing CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git Gitlab Harness Jenkins etc
• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

• Experience with Splunk Datadog Dynatrace Jira and Confluence
• Experience in the daytoday practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum Kanban etc
• Experience with security implementations such as Sonatype Web Inspect or Fortify
