We are currently seeking a Site Electrician to join our team of skilled professionals. The position will be based in Brampton Ontario.
The main objective of the role is to maximize plant performance through troubleshooting repair and upgrade of electrical equipment.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
Install examine replace or repair electrical wiring receptacles switch boxes conduits lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches relays circuit breakers and fuse disconnects
Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
Work with computers AC/DC drives HMIs and PLCs
Read and interpret Electrical drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Maintain spare parts inventory
Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel
Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis
Comply with internal and corporate policies procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety
Respond to emergency situations as necessary and perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A
Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma is a plus
Must have knowledge of AC/DC Drives Relay Logic RS logix 500 and control logix Programming
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to work collaboratively
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
