Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Inside Sales Team and gain handson experience in pipeline management construction project research and customer engagement. This early talent career program will provide exposure to lead generation opportunity management sales strategy and factfinding research for key projects helping to create value for our Field Sales Teams. The intern will also gain a strong foundation in sales pipeline management learning how opportunities progress from lead to close.
Job Description Details
- Support the Inside Sales Team by assisting with opportunity management lead qualification and pipeline tracking.
- Learn how to analyze and manage a regional pipeline identifying bottlenecks and trends to improve forecasting.
- Conduct factfinding research on key projects gathering valuable insights to support strategic sales initiatives.
- Learn to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools including Salesforce to track sales opportunities and pipeline progression.
- Work closely with the Inside & Field Sales Team to provide researchdriven insights that help drive customer engagement and pipeline growth.
- Assist in developing sales presentations project overviews and research summaries for internal and external use.
- Participate in customer outreach initiatives to gather insights and improve lead qualification.
- Attend weekly team and department meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of sales strategy pipeline health and forecasting.
- Apply academic knowledge to realworld sales and business development scenarios.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the Inside Sales function.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify key insights.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customerfirst mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Interest in developing skills in opportunity management pipeline tracking customer insights and sales research.
- Availability to work a 40hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer.
Education Certification/License & Work Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field at an accredited university.
- Graduate students or undergraduate students who have completed at least one full year of coursework preferred.
- Previous coursework or experience in sales market research or business analytics is a plus.

Compensation:
- Base: $22$25 hourly (CO) based on specific compensable factors including but not limited to education work experience and geographic market.
