We have a customer in Tempe AZ who has an IMMEDIATE longterm DIRECT HIRE opening for a Calibration Technician. If you or any of your colleagues are interested and qualified for this position please click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will be involved with a variety of duties including mechanical assembly and calibration of flow measurement equipment laser etching of flow meters hydrostatic and hyperbaric pressure testing of flow meters and housings cleaning of flow meters blending fluids to desired viscosities calibrating flow meters using CalWare installing lock wires on meters and electronic components and working safely using a 5S approach.
This is a longterm DIRECT HIRE position and must be worked onsite at company location hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Pay range is in the $22.00 $26.00/hr range
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent AAS in Mechanical or Electronic Technology preferred
- 13 years experience working in a mfg. environment
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Must have experience using a variety of small hand tools and power tools (wrenches drills screw drivers etc.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with very small parts and components
- Knowledge of MS OFFICE Excel Good oral and written communication skills strong organization skills
