We are excited to be working withspecialist schools and alternative provisions in North Tynesidethat are looking for committedSEND Teaching Assistantsto join their teams.
THE ROLE:
Support students with SEND including those withAutism (ASC) ADHD SEMH (Social Emotional & Mental Health) and other learning needs.
Assist in deliveringtailored learning plansto meet individual student needs.
Fulltime and parttime roles availablewith immediate and September 2025 starts.
Competitive weekly rate starting from 415.
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Hasexperience working with children or young people with SEND(in school or care settings).
Possesses (or is willing to obtain) anenhanced DBS placed on the update service.
Demonstrates patience adaptability and a nurturing approach.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
