Job Description

Additional Information
Office setting with some local travel between Partners Healthcare sites.
As projects and priorities dictate must be available to work nonstandard business hours such as evening nights weekends and holidays if/when necessary.

General Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a selfmotivated thinker who is interested in working on the Partnerswide initiative Partners eCare. With the guiding principle of one patient one record one team one Partners statement this project will enable a seamless flow of clinical and administrative information about a patient anywhere within the Partners System and ultimately improve the quality and safety of care for our patients.
Under the supervision of the Training Manager and according to established policies and procedures the incumbent will serve as the Training Specialist responsible for content management on the Partners eCare Training Team. This is a multifaceted role in which the Training Specialist will collaborate closely with training leadership both within the Partners eCare team and across Partners Healthcare system.
Responsibilities
  • Identify establish and implement a course development process and procedures consistent across the PeC training curriculum.
  • Establish an overall content management processes to be enforced by the training managers with their staff including training materials and reference guides and templates
  • Establish and maintain content change control processes and quality assurance review cycles to be executed by the training managers and teams.
  • Establish and maintain the training tip sheet management processes and associated tools including the initial request processes for training support/remediation from pre and post live entities.
  • Continue to evaluate effectiveness and provide improvement feedback to the Partners eCare training director and training managers related to training content development and maintenance
  • Evaluate tools to assist with training content management and maintenance
  • Communicate with internal PeC resources and external PeC training stakeholders regarding training content decision making
  • Facilitates project plan tracking and weekly status reporting for content development activities and estimates completion of work plans as well as outstanding work issues and risks on a weekly basis
  • Allocates and utilizes time efficiently.
  • Exhibits sound and accurate decision making and serves as an expert resource for training content problem solving.
  • Uses the Partners HealthCare values to govern decisions actions and behaviors.
