Job Description
Job: Housekeeper
Location: Remote Flyin Camp Nunavut
Rotation: 4 weeks on 2 weeks off
Background Checks: Drug & Alcohol screening and criminal record check will be conducted
Position Overview:
Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for an immediate opening as a Remote Camp Housekeeper at a flyin camp in the breathtaking region of Nunavut. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while contributing to important projects in the mining and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all camp facilities including kitchens dining areas restrooms and living quarters.
- Perform laundry duties including washing drying and folding linens and personal clothing.
- Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met throughout the camp.
- Assist with meal preparation and service as needed.
- Stock supplies and report inventory needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferably in a remote or camp setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning protocols.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
