We are seeking an organized compassionate and serviceoriented experienced veterinary technicianwho is confident in rooming patients assisting in surgery placing IV catheters drawing blood and running bloodwork has experience with xray and proper positioning understands the importance of client education and is a supportive and positive team player works well with the veterinarians and other team members.

Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of veterinary technician experience
- Surgery technician or surgery experience required
- Must be able to perform venipuncture
- Must have experience in anesthetic induction maintenance and monitoring
- Must be able to place I.V. catheters efficiently
- Must be familiar with veterinary terminology and anatomy
- Must be familiar with specimen collecting for lab submission
- Must be able to handle and restrain animals
- Must be able to maintain accurate medical records both written and electronic
- Must be able to clearly communicate with clients doctors and staff
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs unassisted
The hourly pay rate for this position starts at$20.00 $21.00 per hour this varies depending on experience education certifications licensure and location.
