Job Description
The NHP IT Data Steward Manager works closely with departmental subject matter experts as data stewards and leadership to capture create edit archive and otherwise manage the data across its lifecycle at NHP.
The IT Data Steward Manager and the subject matter experts need to be intimate with the data in the context of its origin its business rules its lineage and its usage. The linkage between corporate data governance and data management activities will reside with the IT Data Steward Manager who implements the business rules processes and ensures compliance with corporate data standards and definitions. The IT Data Steward Manager will monitor track and report on data as it supports business initiatives and is processed by various systems.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
5 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience
Prior experience with data quality concepts best practices and tools.
Credibility and a track record of success with the business on data related projects.
Experience with data analysis techniques.
Knowledge of BI and analytics
Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) implementation including tables joins and SQL querying
Ability to combine data from multiple sources when needed for analysis.
Familiarity with the use cases business purposes and quality of the data
