Job Description
A leading plastic manufacturing company situated in Pretoria Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Industrial Designer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers during the design and development of new products
- Design and drawing of new or existing products using Solid Works design software
- Design and development of new products for customer related enquires
- Design and development of new products for internal enquires
- Setting up of master cards and work instructions for new designs
- Coordinate with the sales department regarding any technical enquiries
Requirements
- 3year National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Solid works experience
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and selling skills
- Have excellent people skills and intuitive to clients needs
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
