Position Summary:

• Assures and assists in provision of optimum quality patient care by serving as resource person for other staff members patients and family.
• Coordinates patient care with registered nurse and other departments.
• Assists the physician.
• Performs data collection and obtains patient information.
• Assists the RN with patient care.
• Intervenes with appropriate action after needs are identified.
• Evaluates the assignment planning and intervention process.
• Demonstrates professional and personal development.
• Applies knowledge of agerelated factors appropriately to patients utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.
