Job Description
Sturdy Health is seeking a Per Diem Neurologist to join our wellestablished and successful community hospital system in Attleboro MA.
Our hospital and ambulatory practices provide multidisciplinary medical care and outpatient laboratory services in close proximity to the communities we serve. We are committed to providing the highest quality health care to patients of all ages. With convenient office hours and quick access to major highways it is easy for our patients to get quality health care locally.
About the job:
- The responsibility of this position is primarily to provide inpatient and emergency care of neurologic patients roughly one weekend per month at Sturdy Memorial Hospital
- Diagnose treat and manage patients with neurological disorders working closely with hospitalists and other providers with different subspecialty training and interests
- Weekend call coverage includes Friday through Sunday or option for Saturday through Sunday
- Responsible for rounding once per day and responding to initial consults within 24 hours while on call
- Weekend call volume estimated at 515 new consults
Requirements:
- Availability to cover an average of one weekend per month
- BE/BC Neurology
- Current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or ability to obtain
- Dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our communities
