Job Description

Must be RN LICSW LMHD Ph.D. with current Massachusetts license with two years clinical experience working with psychiatric population preferred. Previous utilization management experience preferred.

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication clinical and administrative purposes.

The Utilization Manager is responsible for carrying out patient care review program which facilitates appropriate use of resources and quality of care. Consult to administrative/clinical staff regarding utilization management related issues. Participate in daily clinical rounds or otherwise reviews cases with clinicians. Perform telephone reviews with managed care staff and make appropriate IDX entries and assists Patients Financial Services Department when indicated.
