Under general guidance from the Executive Director and in conjunction with VP of Finance at BWFH the Director Patient Access is administratively responsible for the management of BWFH Patient Access Services including directing planning and controlling all aspects of Admitting Registration and Schegistration. S/he is responsible for standard PreService and Patient Access approaches that contribute to the capture management and collection of data impacting patient service revenue while maintaining strong regulatory and legal compliance and high levels of customer service. Key to this role is the ability to manage change in a complex and constantly evolving environment. . The Director of Patient Access will ensure that programs align with BWHC strategic initiatives.
S/he is responsible for establishing programs policies and procedures to maximize utilization while maintaining high levels of quality and patient/physician satisfaction. The Director will work closely with executive leadership clinical directors and physicians on clinical initiatives to support patient safety and throughput
The Director performs all these functions in a manner that complies with standards established by Hospital Administration Medical Staff and outside regulatory and accreditation agencies.

Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration Management Finance Business Administration or the equivalent is strongly preferred. Minimum of related Bachelors is required.
Minimum of 10 years of significant Patient Access/ Revenue Cycle management experience preferred
Certification within Patient Access Associations such as: Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) or the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) is desirable.
