About this role:

The Ethics & Compliance and Trade Analyst conducts research analysis and reporting to support the companys legal and compliance frameworks to include Trade Compliance aiding in risk assessment policy adherence and operational compliance. The incumbent collaborates with Legal & Compliance teams to gather data analyse regulatory changes and contribute to policy and process improvements. (Due to the global nature of the role and the specific support required for China a Mandarin speaking candidate is preferred.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist with managing E&C and trade logs and thirdparty management records and keeping all logs up to date
  • Assist with gathering documentation required from different departments to assist with E&C and Trade Management controls and procedures
  • Manage the Policy Hub and other compliance resources as well as manage translation requirements
  • Help consolidate both internal and external reporting requests for disclosures and customers alike
  • Manage Ethics & Compliance and Trade training schedules champion networks and events
  • Global Trade Management system:
    • Serve as administrator for the Thomson Reuters OneSource system.
    • Interim Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) manager (to be transitioned to Operations)
      • Support technical issues related to OneSource Supply Chain Compliance module.
      • Work with CTPAT program administrator to review documentation submitted as part of the annual solicitation and request additional clarification and/or documentation as needed to demonstrate compliance with minimum security criteria.
      • Assist with loading required documentation into the CTPAT portal in preparation to submit the annual security profile to US Customs.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; may be working towards a professional qualification at this level.
  • Developing knowledge of methodologies processes practices and common issues of the Legal & Compliance function.
  • Able to convey straightforward technical and nontechnical information to audiences that generally understand the subject matter. Communication is normally within the team and closely related teams as well as with employees across the company to assist with legal and/or compliancerelated queries and support.
  • Primarily focuses on providing support to the team.
  • Able to work under general supervision with some guidance from a competent professional or manager needed from time to time.
  • SAP and/or Thomson Reuters OneSource or other Global Trade Management system skills Preferred
  • Mandarin skills (written and spoken) Preferred
