Were currently recruiting for casual Customer and Library Service Officers to deliver exceptional customer experiences across a range of channels and sites across our municipality.
About the Role
Are you a skilled communicator with solid call centre experience In this pivotal call centrefocused role you will be the first point of contact for the public responding to a high volume of inbound calls and representing the Council with professionalism and care. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver firstcall resolution and consistently provide positive customer experiences over the phone.
Working in a fastpaced contact centre environment youll act as a bridge between the community and Council services ensuring suitable outcomes are achieved for every interaction. Call centre experience is essential as youll need to navigate complex queries and systems with confidence and efficiency.
While the core focus of this role is within our call centre the role is multifaceted and you will also work shifts across our Customer and Library Service Centres. This includes maintaining the presentation of our service points supporting patrons with general enquiries or technology use and assisting with programs that include our weekly childrens activities that engage our youngest community members.

About You
We are looking for individuals that are dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service with a strong emphasis on empathy and problemsolving. We value individuals with high emotional intelligence who can creatively address the diverse needs of our customers. Previous experience in a Call Centre is essential.
Our Customer and Library Service Centres operate six days a week from Monday to Saturday and we are seeking individuals with flexible availability to contribute to our dynamic team.
This role offers a Casual opportunity with a competitive hourly rate starting at $47.59 (Band 4 plus superannuation.
