Senior Financial Analyst
The Adaptive & Embedded Computing Group (AECG) Finance team is seekingupcoming MBA graduates to fill fulltime Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) positions beginning Summer 2023. Each SFA will be assigned to one of the following finance teams based on candidates aptitudes and business need at the time.
AECG Finance is composed of a variety of teams responsible for providing finance and decision support to the Companys functional business leaders.
Adaptive & Embedded Computing Group (AECG) Finance teams:
AECG Consolidation FP&A
- AECGwide strategic planning
- Business Unit consolidation
Data Center Group Business Unit Finance
- Full P&L support in the Data Center market
- 5year business strategy
- Annual budgeting & planning
Wired & Wireless Group Business Unit Finance
- Full P&L support in the Communications market
- 5year business strategy
- Annual budgeting & planning
Embedded Group Business Unit Finance
- Full P&L support in the Embedded market
- 5year business strategy
- Annual budgeting & planning
Core Markets Group Finance
- Sales Operations & Funnel Management
- Vertical Marketing
Central Products Group & Investment Analytics Finance
- Product definition
- Silicon IP and Software Product Development (R&D)
Senior Financial Analysts will drive a number of impactful activities:
VP Support
- Assist in the development the VPs comprehensive annual budget and quarterly updates
- Participate in the monthend financial close with budget variance analysis and commentary
- Track and report key area VP metrics (e.g. weekly sales productivity ROI)
- Measure and report the VPs headcount metrics in assessing area resource efficiency
- Monitor the VPs office space utilization to facilitate effective site and facilities management
Decision support activities (not exhaustive)
- P&L scenario modeling
- Product line performance sales mix price/cost analysis; explain margin performance
- Direct vs. rep/channel sales coverage
- Sales funnel stage yield analysis
- Price management big deal analysis pricing trends
- Workforce cost structure optimization salary grade level and geographic mix analysis
Required qualifications:
- MBA from a top ranked & nationally recognized business school
- BA/BS in finance accounting economics mathematics or engineering field
- Strong academic achievement at the undergraduate and graduate level
- 35 years practical work experience prior to graduate school
- Strong problem solving critical thinking and modeling skills
- Effective verbal and visual presentation skills
- Ability to work within a dynamic and crossfunctional team environment
- Eager to rotate into new Finance roles every 23 years
