Job Description
In this role you will be able to be a part of the leading provider of rural healthcare in Minnesota.This is a unique Dental opportunity allowing you to work in a cozy Dental Clinic setting within a large integrated hospital facility. You will work with our Dental staff to assist in making our patients experience a safe and enjoyable one.Working with the CentraCare team also allows you to be a part of a network of a large 13000 employee healthcare organization! And even though we are a part of the larger CentraCare organization including 3000 employees at Rice Memorial our staff operates in a close and supportive team atmosphere.
Under the direction of a licensed dentist the Dental Hygienist promotes dental health by performing dental prophylaxis or periodontal therapy providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies conduct oral assessments conduct patient education and explain how to practice good oral hygiene provide other duties related to preservation of dental health and prevention of dental disease and occasional supervision of dental hygiene students.
Schedule:
- Casual 12 shifts every 2 weeks
- Monday Thursday 8AM 4:30PM and on Fridays8AM1PM
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $31.10 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $31.10 $46.66 per hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Dental Hygiene school
- Associate degree
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota.
- Current CPR Certification.
- 1 years experience as a hygienist.
The CentraCare Dental Clinic is a collaboration with theUniversity of Minnesota School of Dentistrys community outreach programs.
CentraCare Dental Clinic is an outreach site for the University of Minnesota Dental school. We combine teaching with providing dental care to the community.
