Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatologistto join its wellestablished practice in Tampa Florida.

• This position will primarily cover the NICUs at St Josephs Womens Hospital and St Josephs North with the opportunity to rotate to the other hospitals covered by the practice
• Schedule will consist of daytime rounding and evening call from home
• The group provides 24 hour inhouse delivery room and newborn coverage at all hospitals
• The neonatologists provide inhouse call at St. Josephs Womens Hospital LevelIV NICU and a combination of inhouse and backup call from home for the other NICUs with either a Neo or NNP providing night coverage
• A combination of neonatologists and pediatricians provide normal newborn coverage at the hospitals
• The team consists of 16 neonatologists 5 neonatal hospitalists and 14 NNPs who provide care to patients in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties

  • Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater a LevelII NICU with 10 beds
  • Mease Countryside in Safety Harbor a LevelIII NICU with 12 beds
  • St. Josephs South Hospital in Riverside a LevelII NICU with 11 beds
  • St Josephs North Hospital in Lutz a LevelII NICU with 7 beds
  • South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City a LevelII NICU with 7 beds
