The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4 to join the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization supporting the Executive Fleet Team in San Antonio TX.

BDS is a global leader in the development production maintenance and enhancement of fixedwing and rotary wing aircraft commercial and government satellites human spaceflight programs and weapons. Key markets include aeronautics space and weapons. Core capabilities are in development production and mission enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders and peers.

• Leads others and directs all phases of assigned crossorganizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g. PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK ANSI and ISO standards).
• Oversight and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives.
• Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
• Ensures the assigned team is executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
• Provides indepth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
• Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management. Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio TX.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance PostStart is required

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience leading or managing complex crossfunctional teams
• 3 years of experience in advising and influencing managers or nonmanagers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
• Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed crossfunctional and matrix team
• 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• 3 years of experience with the RIO (Risks Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Experience in Federal & DoD government services policies guidance and regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting
• Experience in a business or engineering related function (including but not limited to: Finance Contracts Estimating Procurement Financial Analysis Business Operations Supplier Management Marketing & Sales Human Resources Engineering Staffing)
• Active Top Secret Clearance is preferred

Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.
