Looking for pre/post RN for our Pediatric recovery room at Downtown. Must have previous pediatric critical care experience; PACU experience preferred. The candidate will be scheduled days 071930 and evenings 112330. The position requires some weekends.Qualifications: Current New York State Registration. Certified in BLS and able to be recertified. Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.Travelers will only be considered if they are experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonaland communication skills. Must not have had professional license or certification suspended orinvestigated. Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim. Must haveverification of legal right to work in U.S. Must successfully pass preemployment health clearance. Allcandidates are subject to drug screening and criminal background checks as described in this Agreement.Duties: Able to perform majority of patient care skills good nursing assessment in the level of acute care settingin the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.
