Purpose:
Responsibilities:
- Provide design support on small to a medium size project.
- Understand project scope and interpret design input drawings/documents to produce typical deliverables like:
- Instrument Index and I/O List
- Instrument datasheet
- Installation details
- Material Take off or Bill of Materials
- Block diagrams
- Junction box wiring diagrams
- Instrument loop diagrams
- Instrument location diagrams
- Instrument Installation details
- Control panel design
- Power distribution and relay schematics
- Cable schedules
- Cable and Conduit layout & routing
- Cable selections and cable routing
- Instrumentation wiring details
- Review and extract data from vendor packages
- Experience with PLCs and DCS. Preferably Emerson DeltaV Foxboro EcoStruxure or ABBxA DCS and Modicon GE or Rockwell PLC.
- Experience with Fire Detection and Alarm system design is preferred.
- Experience with Access Control Systems is a plus
- Experience with CCTV and HVAC systems is a plus
- Experience with SPI to produce Instrument Index Datasheets wiring and loop is preferred and not a must.
- Experience with the AVEVA E3D and Navisworks. Drafting knowledge in an AutoCad and Microstation environment.
