Summary
- This is a skilled position involving the preparation of quantity estimates using material labor and overhead costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must receive jobs and provide complete and accurate bids in a timely manner.
- Will track and adjust quantities through all phases of the project.
- Regular visits to the field will be required to verify completed and remaining quantities and to monitor project progress.
- Will work with subcontractors and other customers to help ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or other related field is preferred.
- One to three years construction estimating experience is preferred; or an equivalent of education and experience will be accepted.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed and involved instructions short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add subtract multiple and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ration and percent.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
- Previous use of estimating software is preferred.
Certificates Licenses Registrations
- Standard Drivers License is required.
