Job Description Summary
The School of Health Sciences at Oakland University in Rochester Michigan invites qualified persons with a passion for Radiologic Technology to apply for a fulltime appointment. As a member of the department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences the expectations of this position are to: serve as the Radiologic Technology program director provide disciplinary expertise and teaching in the undergraduate Radiologic Technology program coordinate clinical experiences advance relationships with medical system partners and provide service to the school university and communities of practice. The successful candidate will also have responsibilities to include continuous academic program refinement program and accreditation review(s) new program development participation in student recruitment and retention and active involvement in professional organizations. Candidates with knowledge and experience in programmatic accreditation maintaining and modifying an electronic student evaluation processes coordinating student education at multiple clinical sites developing and implementing various radiography education curriculum plans teaching a variety of academic courses and program management and development are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications
In accordance with the Joint Review Committee on Radiologic Technology the minimum qualifications include a Masters degree; current ARRT radiography credentials; three years professional clinical experience; two years experience as an instructor in an accredited radiography program; curriculum design program administration instruction evaluation and academic advising.
