Johnson County Library seeks a Project Coordinator to work on a project management team to coordinate prioritization and resourcing for Library strategic projects and/or planning and implementation of capital projects. The Project Coordinator oversees projects of various size scope and complexity and works with stakeholders to define the needs of the project and ensures project objectives and client expectations are met. For projects involving work managed by other county departments or agencies this position will serve as a primary point of contact in coordinating library resources communication and other aspects of project coordination. Minimum Job Requirements:
A bachelors degree in Business Public Administration Library Science or relevant field is required. Three 3 years of project management or related management experience is also required.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Education/Experience Substitutions:
Experience may be substituted for education. Education may be substituted for experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
A masters degree in Business Public Administration Library Science or relevant field is preferred. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is also preferred.
Physical Environmental and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
May be required to respond on days/hours outside normal office hours.
