Job Description
The PointofCare Testing Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of the Point of Care testing program for the clinical laboratory at Brigham and Womens Faulkner Hospital. Provides management of POC testing to include; establishing revising and monitoring policies and procedures for POC testing program; ensuring that POC testing meets all regulatory requirements for standards; designing organized welldocumented and thorough program for providing assistance to all POC testing user sites including instrument trouble shooting; developing procedures for detecting unapproved POC testing and maintaining compliance; working with the lab director and laboratory medical director to respond to requests for new POC testing equipment.

Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school. 35 years in a Laboratory preferred
Knowledge of Laboratory Point of Care testing including CAP and Joint Commission regulations.
