Job Description
We are seeking a Land Planner to join our civil site department in Coraopolis PA
Candidates must have a bachelors degree in land planning or related field and 35 years experience in land development entitlement and/or land use entitlement process including:
Review potential sites and draft concept plans.
Review and develop plans that meet Subdivision and Land Development codes and regulations.
Review and develop plans that meet Zoning ordinances.
Draft ordinances for subdivision and land developments
Prepare /assist in preparing comprehensive plans.
Assist zoning officer /experience as a zoning officer.
Interpret Surveys (topo wetland)
Meet and coordinate with government staff.
Develop preliminary plans.
Submit plans for approvals at Planning Commissions and City Council utilities and other authorities.
Attending public meetings
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
35 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and/or planning.
AICP a plus
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
Experience with Photoshop InDesign Sketchup Illustrator GIS/ArcView AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft office is required.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft office is required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work remotely and in office setting.
