We are seeking a PRN RN/PACU to join our team. Preferably candidates will bring previous verifiable experience in eye procedures such as cataracts retina cornea and glaucoma although this is not a requirement for consideration.

The Role: The PACU Nurse is responsible for the safety and care of the patients while in the preoperative and postoperative areas. Accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients both prior to administration and immediately following the emergence from anesthesia for surgical intervention. Incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice performs nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process. By assessment of the individual patient and the scheduled surgical procedure anticipates the needs of the patient and provides for those needs while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
