Job Description
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene and have a current license in the state of Massachusetts as a Dental Hygienist.
Minimum of two years experience as a dental hygienist required.
Exciting opportunity for an experienced parttime dental hygienist to work in our cuttingedge mobile dental van in Chelsea or brand new site in Charlestown.
- Provide oral hygiene and preventive services to dental patientsat an ambulatory health center.
- Candidate will be responsible for patient care and administrative duties include the oversight of a transition to a new dental software system.
- Provide clinical oral hygiene prophylaxis exams scaling sealant application fluoride application within the applicable state law and health centers protocols.
- Assist in the provision of technical assistance and health education in the community.
- Assist with procedure relative to infection control exposure control safety matters and quality assurance.
- Travelwhen necessary to meet operational needs.
- Responsible for compliance with all State federal and local health center rules regulations protocols and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining all supplies and materials needed for daily operation of department.
- Participation in administrative meetings.
