Job Description
Piedmont Virginia Community College PVCC is a nonresidential twoyear institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle Buckingham Fluvanna Greene Louisa and Nelson. Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System VCCS . PVCC is nationally recognized for its outstanding transfer curriculum; its relationship with its neighbor the University of Virginia; and its Workforce Development Programs serving local employers. Applications will be received and considered on a continuous basis as openings occur. Piedmont Virginia Community College is seeking innovative and collaborative individuals to join the faculty as a parttime Adjunct Professor of Medical Laboratory Technology. Candidates must be qualified to teach in at least one of the following areas: Clinical Microbiology Hematology and Clinical Chemistry. Classes may be offered facetoface and/or online.
Work Schedule
Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a coursebycourse semester basis. as needed. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or collegelevel courses which may include distancelearning courses during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends. Primarily facetoface with the possibility of remote instruction.
