About the team
At Equativ were on a mission to develop advertising technologies that empower our customers to reach their digital business goals. This means that we rely on massively scalable widely distributed highly available and efficient software systems; the platform deals with over 3 million requests per second 250 billion/day) managed by 3000 servers with less than 250ms response time.
Our innovation team based in Paris Nantes Bordeaux Limoges Krakow and Berlin is composed of 150 straightforward and energetic engineers working in an Agile environment and ready to tackle the most complex technical challenges.
The mission
You will join our fastgrowing R&D team based in Paris and Nantes on a mission to build organize and develop our Insights Optimization & Efficiency Fullstack Engineering team. You will manage a team of Fullstack engineers based in Paris and Nantes working on our brand new curation platform: Maestro.The aim of this team is to leverage the data to maximize the UI efficiency for the sake of our customers by creating powerful reporting tools and optimizing the user experience by giving them access to the right data at the right time.Youll report directly to the Engineering Director Demand.
What youll do
- Lead and develop a team of Fullstack Engineers that have a passion for UI code reliability and testability
- Be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic plan with your team to develop build and improve technically all the stacks (quality ci/cd technical debt best practices scalability
- Work in an agile and multiexpertise team composed of Product management UX designers software and data engineers QA and DevOps
- Work closely with R&D and Product Management to give vision to your team as well as gather and translate requirements into realistic technical solutions
- Assess quality of produced features by monitoring and tests reviewing code to ensure maintainability checking processes and documentation
- Participate actively to the team spirit be a role model for your team supporting both the technical vision of the company and the growth and performance of your team members
- Use remaining time and your strong development skills:To take part to architecture discussions to boost global engine performance / To participate to the day to day scope of the team: Design develop deploy and maintain scalable and highly available solutions for our platforms engines
- Innovate and learn in autonomy during our Smart days
About you
- 5 years of web software development experience with C# .NET REST WebAPIs SQL and modern frontend technologies (Angular HTML5 CSS SASS)
- Experience in managing and leading engineering teams
- Interest in recent technologies (Docker Kubernetes Prometheus Grafana GitLab SonarCube Redis)
- Customer oriented approach: you deliver clean and usable solutions for customers (and you know that customers hate bugs!
- Youre a keen technology watcher and cant stop experimenting with the latest novelties
- You know how to deal with Data
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Entrepreneurial spirit and knowhow to identify opportunities of improvement
- Personal projects with code sharing were curious about your art!
