In this role you will work closely with the Senior Director of Certification and assume ownership of the exam development lifecycle support our growing customer base and implement strategies to both grow the type of credentials we offer and innovate the methods we use to assess skill and performance based competence.
A successful candidate in this role has a track record developing assessments for a modern enterprise SaaS credentialing program for a range of learner personas. You can articulate the importance of reliable fair and relevant assessments. Candidates will be well versed in managing exam development and publishing processes as well as driving gotomarket motions associated with highvolume assessment programs. You will work closely with the curriculum development organization to align on shared personas and jobtask analyses as inputs to exam and course development. An entrepreneurial attitude and passion to innovate a cool new thing that doesnt yet exist is key to thriving on our team.

What Youll Do
Influence Veevas current credentialing program by leading exam development; ensure our program processes meet industry accepted legal defensibility requirements
Contribute to the overall growth of the Veeva certification program by consistently seeking efficient and effective process improvements
Work with instructional designers and subjectmatter experts to develop new badges and certifications by leading jobtask analysis exam blueprint and item writing workshops
Work crossfunctionally with SMEs and stakeholders to validate exam objectives ensure technical accuracy of items manage feedback cycles and publish approved exams
Conduct routine exam and item analysis to assess the performance and quality of exams and make recommendations for exam/item updates as needed
Report on and communicate credential program results to crossfunctional partners
Support customers with program messaging candidate guides sample test items FAQs and website detail; work crossfunctionally on certification related inquiries with our operations team
Manage vendor relationships that support test development and delivery psychometric analysis and badging goals.
Manage projects with accuracy transparency and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Develop working knowledge of various capabilities of Veeva products and underlying technologies to become productline conversant with a growing ecosystem of experts
Requirements
History of building and managing successful innovative credentialing functions
5 years experience in enterprise customerfacing curriculum or certification programs (in a SaaS environment)
Experience with digital credentialing programs such as Credily Accredible and Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) or Learning Management Systems (LMSs)
Experience with highstakes test development and delivery; familiarity with vendors and methodologies
Consistent track record of accountability in delivering quality projects on time
Strong interpersonal skills with the initiative to build collaborative productive relationships across all lines of business
Demonstrated ability to flexibly take on new challenges and pivot direction if needed
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Nice to have
Masters degree in Instructional Design or related field
Credentialed in test development or psychometric analysis
Life sciences experience in pharmaceutical biotech medical device companies or clinical research industries

Compensation
Base pay: $105000 $165000
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications experience and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
