Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is an awardwinning winery and event venue featuring distinctive wines and farmtotable cuisine in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains just a tenminute drive from Charlottesville VA.
We are looking for Stewards/Dishwashers to join our backofhouse team. If you have a passion for food and hospitality wed love to hear from you!
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. As a Dishwasher at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. You will work alongside passionate culinary professionals in a fastpaced environment ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to wash and sanitize dishes glassware flatware pots pans and other kitchen utensils.
- Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks such as sweeping mopping and taking out trash.
- Support the culinary team by organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the kitchen.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Pay is competitive starting at $18/hour!
- The role includes daytime shifts for the Tasting Room and weekend shifts for our exclusive weddings and private events.
- May be crosstrained on culinary prep.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a highintensity atmosphere must work well with others and must demonstrate a willingness to learn.
