Looking for a career that offers challenges and the chance to make a real impact Commercial Appliance Parts & Service (CAPS) is seeking a dynamic Billing/Collection Specialist. - Maintain strong internal and external customer relations.
- Achieve daily call volume goals
- Identify and negotiate payment arrangements on past due balances within collection guidelines and laws.
- Provide updates by identifying any issues impacting collections the reason for being past due and the action being taken to collect or resolve a dispute
- Offer solutions to customers who are having problems and collection objections.
- 13 years of collections/credit experience
- Experience in handling a large volume smalldollar portfolio with outbound call goals.
- Must be detailoriented and highly organized
- PC and MS Office Proficiency (Excel / Word / Outlook)
- Efficient time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously including prioritizing organizing and planning effectively to meet all deadlines
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Selfmotivated with a proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fastpaced work environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with Global Edge or other ERP software preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass background and drug screen.
