Overview:
Alteryx Inc. is looking for a Product Manager on the Data Connectivity team with an emphasis on end2end product management for CDW and File storage Connectivity. Data Connectivity is a product portfolio that focuses on providing connectivity and connection management to a wide array of Alteryxsupported data sources (files databases cloud apps etc. with the goal of providing the bestinclass connectors and seamless connection experience. This role sits in the Product Management organization and owns the strategy and on one of the key product areas within the portfolio. You will work crossfunctionally as a member of the Product team and closely with other product counterparts and engineering teams in driving roadmap and .
Responsibilities:
Own the strategy and of the product roadmap
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (Engineering UX Sales Support and partners) to define requirements and drive the development of connectors that span cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery) and enterprise file storage systems (e.g. AWS S3 Azure Blob Google Cloud Storage).
Develop implement and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics for your product roadmap; use KPIs for datadriven business decisions and roadmap planning/development
Work with the product and engineering teams determining technical feasibility and timelines strategy requirements and features and to determine short and longterm goals
Demonstrate expertise of database and cloud connectivity coupled with secure credential management.
Capture customer feedback and establish the value of adding new features and work with engineering to set timelines for deliverables
Collaborate with sales and partners to outline requirements and convert these needs into features for product development
Gather competitive intelligence perform market audits and define and align strategy and roadmap
Requirements:
3 years of Product Management experience preferably in BI or datarelated industries
Bachelors degree in technical field (science computer science data & databases etc.
Working experience or familiarity with BI tools data processing and analytics
Experience in onpremises cloud SaaS and PaaS environments
Strong work ethic; selfdirected and resourceful; selfstarter with initiative and is proactive
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective documentation skills with ability to articulate/simplify technical information
Problem solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen
Excellent teamwork skills ability to manage interpret and influence cross functional teams
Experience with Alteryx Designer / Server a plus
