Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated level 2 install technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced installations and configurations of low voltage systems including fire alarm systems access control systems security systems surveillance cameras intercoms audio/visual systems and network cabling
  • Interpret technical diagrams schematics and specifications to complete installations and service calls accurately
  • Oversee and mentor Level One Technicians providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards industry regulations and company policies
  • Prepare detailed service reports documentation and inventory logs
  • Maintain and update technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development
  • Communicate effectively with clients as well as other staff members such as Project Managers and Project Coordinator
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • All technicians in a company vehicle will be added to the company oncall rotation
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or associate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of low voltage systems including fire alarm access security telecommunications audio/visual and data networks.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds tools and work in various physical environments.
