This program is available for new nurses who have less than 1 year of RN experience and is offered at Paynesville Melrose Sauk Centre Long Prairie Rice Memorial in Willmar and fivetime Magnetdesignated St. Cloud Hospital. Our program is one of the best in the country for new RNs and is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Our yearlong program is designed to provide you with additional training support and resources needed to transform you into an exceptional professional nurse. New RNs in the program will enhance their skills and knowledge through monthly paid training sessions. These sessions will consist of a variety of activities such as group discussions simulations case studies and a professional development project. Upon accepting a nursing position you will be automatically enrolled in the program.
I learned so much in my first year as a nurse and the new graduate nurse residency helped to supplement and solidify my knowledge.
