CentraCare is committed to helping new graduate Registered Nurses (RNs) in their transition from student to professional nurse through our Graduate Nurse Residency Program. This program is available for new nurses who have less than 1 year of RN experience and is offered at Paynesville Melrose Sauk Centre Long Prairie Rice Memorial in Willmar and fivetime Magnetdesignated St. Cloud Hospital. Our program is one of the best in the country for new RNs and is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Our yearlong program is designed to provide you with additional training support and resources needed to transform you into an exceptional professional nurse. New RNs in the program will enhance their skills and knowledge through monthly paid training sessions. These sessions will consist of a variety of activities such as group discussions simulations case studies and a professional development project. Upon accepting a nursing position you will be automatically enrolled in the program.

Things to know:
- By completing this application you will be considered for all new grad RN positions available throughout CentraCare.
- Unit availability varies with some units requiring additional experience.
- Shifts and FTEs will vary depending on the unit and be determined at the time of offer.
- We hire and start new grad RNs throughout the year.
When to apply:
- We recommend applying during your final semester of nursing school but may apply after graduation as well. Please complete the application questions in full and make sure to include an uptodate resume listing your education and graduation date.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour
- Bachelors in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Masters in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Pay range: $40.33 $60.50 per hour
- RN wages in Willmar are based on union rates
- Associate in nursing starting at $40.79 per hour
- Bachelors in nursing starting at $41.14 per hour
- Masters in nursing starting at $43.20 per hour
- Pay range: $40.79 $61.76 per hour

Bonus Information:
- New hires can earn a bonus between $3500 and $5000 depending on unit
- Relocation pay of $5000 is available to those who qualify
Heres what you need to qualify:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required by the time you start
- Minnesota RN License required by start date
- Less than one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- BSN required within three years of hire when working at St. Cloud Hospital

Hiring bonus requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last nine months. Pay promotions may be discontinued at any time.
Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away fromthe working location andrelocate to within 30 miles of it.
