Your Responsibilities

As our Head of Data Science and Analytics you are responsible for transforming RepRisk data into a strategic asset enabling informed decisions driving innovation and powering RepRisks global growth. 

In this role you will lead the corresponding department and report to the Chief Product Officer based in Zurich. You will manage a highimpact team of data scientists and data analysts to enhance our ESG risk and legal entity datasets develop decisiondriving metrics and deliver actionable insights for our clients and our internal decision making. You will work closely with Commercial Research Product Management Machine Learning and Engineering teams to develop bestinclass data products and to ensure decisionready data is delivered to our clients.

Moreover you will

• Lead and develop a team of highimpact data scientists and data analysts. Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture. Develop skills within the team and provide opportunities for professional development.
• Leverage data science expertise to understand characteristics and identify patterns in the risk and legal entity datasets. Evaluate cuttingedge analytics tools statistical methods AI/ML models and forecasting techniques to keep RepRisk at the forefront of business conduct risk insights. Build and validate data models applicable to various use cases in different client segments.
• Engage with clients prospects sales and key account management to enable our clients to easily make better and faster decisions. Drive the use and impact of data science and analytics across the company.
• Own and further develop RepRisk risk metrics. Ensure our metrics are explainable justifiable and scalable. Understand client needs prototype and develop fitforpurpose metrics. Act as the internal and external evangelist for RepRisk metrics. 
• Build a center of excellence for data driven decision making across RepRisk. Develop analytics skills and capabilities across departments define what good looks like and collaborate with senior Product & Technology to make these insights broadly accessible.
• Foster the research and development of innovative approaches internally and with scientific research partners to uncover patterns trends and correlations within everexpanding datasets. Ensure research contributes to thought leadership and product discovery priorities.
• Contribute to the Products and Technology management team and stay in close contact with the clientfacing teams to agree on priorities resource allocation and timelines.

Qualifications :

You Offer

• A masters degree in statistics mathematics physics data science or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in data science quantitative analysis quantitative investing or machine learning modeling.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify insights.
• Clientcentric mindset: deep interest in different clients and their businesses and decision making needs; knowledge about ESG financial services or sustainability standards is beneficial.
• Proven track record of successfully leading a data science organization within a similar business. Includes people as well as managing crossfunctional project management and the ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine optimal solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels and with different backgrounds.
• Experience working closely with software and ML engineers or within a product & technology team.
• Experience setting performance goals and measuring success.
• Working experience or strong interest in investment management is considered a plus.
